CA Varun is a Chartered Accountant with more than 13 years of experience in providing Tax Advisory and managing Tax Litigation, Assessments & Departmental Audits. As an employee he has worked with XEROX (US based Office Automation Group), RAMBOLL (Denmark based Engineering Consulting Group) and RICOH (Japan based Office Automation Group), where his role was to oversee company’s tax obligation. He has vast experience and skill in handling following assignments, among others:

• Assessing tax implications and permissible tax structuring for domestic and international business transactions.
• Handling tax litigations and providing comprehensive support in preparation of various appeals to be filed before Commissioner (Appeals) and ITAT. This includes preparation of Grounds of Appeal, Statement of Facts, Broad Submission, Paper book and in process coordinating and with clients for related information and documents.
• Managing routine compliances, such as, computation of tax liability; filing returns; ledger reconciliations; tax audits and assessments and providing end to end support in tax compliances.

He also writes tax literature for professional journals and at various tax forums.
